Work for the Warmline
The recovery warmline is for people with a mental illness who want to talk to a peer (that is, a person who is in recovery for his or her own mental illness) about issues they are facing in their lives or with their treatment. It provides a friendly and understanding person for those who need help getting back on their recovery track. Responders can refer people who are considering suicide or are otherwise in crisis to appropriate services. This position is work-from-home conducting calls by phone. Shifts are scheduled for 3 hours, once a week. More hours and shifts may be available for qualified responders. Training is provided. This is a great second job!
